Nestled halfway between the metropolitan worlds of Portland and Seattle lies the
Barn on Jackson wedding venue. Courtney being a rad photographer herself nailed
down this perfect location for her nuptials to her long-time beau, Nate. It would make
sense for Courtney, a super creative and well-organized bride, to book this fairytale
property for her big day. The Barn on Jackson harmoniously combined childhood
nostalgia, budding artistry and chic charisma of the Pacific Northwest.
In true Washingtonian tradition, the wedding day was perfectly blanketed with rich
clouds giving the Barn on Jackson a rich, bold and timeless allure. Coral, crimson and
lush green wildflowers draped all corners of the wedding day.
On the wedding day,
Courtney’s laughter could be heard echoing from the bridal suite as she slipped into
her beautiful Maggie Soterro wedding dress.
Her long dark locks graced with a wreath of wildflowers. Her
husband-to-be could be found putting on his bowtie, his calmness putting everyone
around him at ease. Nate’s devotion to his wife-to-be was evident throughout the
entire day. Likewise, Courtney’s love and admiration of her husband illuminated
through her unwavering smile.
The ceremony and reception conveniently took place inside the romantic barn.
Courtney’s detailed planning and unmatched artistry came to life. The multiple
wedding cakes came splashed with robust colors and sprinkled with wildflowers.
Quaint porcelain dinnerware and cutlery rested on floral table runners. Let’s be real,
this was an Anthropologie-lover’s daydream and I loved it!
Following the intimately-lit ceremony, Courtney and Nate roamed the lavish emerald
property. And if photographing the most amazing details at this dream property was
not enough, Courtney and Nate invited adorably-fluffy alpacas to join them for their
bridal portraits. EEK!
